About Our Company

Dwight B. Blue, Sr. started as a firefighter for Johnstown and saw a need for fire safety and fire school. He founded Blue’s Fire Extinguisher Service, Inc. in 1956 and later passed it on to his sons, Dwight Jr. and David. 

Upon Dwight Jr.’s retiring, his brother David continued to run the company along with his son Richard, who now owns and operates Blue’s Fire Extinguisher Service, Inc. 

We are a company dedicated to customer satisfaction. Businesses trust us for all their fire protection needs.
A distributor of Amerex, our company offers a variety of products and services. We sell, service, inspect, and repair fire extinguishers, kitchen fire suppression systems, pre-engineered clean agent fire suppression systems, paint booth and industrial systems.

We also teach fire safety classes. We have fire training for businesses, either by a live fire for each individual to have hands-on training or by teaching a class on how to operate and use a fire extinguisher.
